DIWASS Mandatory from 21 May, but Implementation Is in a Transition Phase
The use of the European digital system DIWASS (Digital Waste Shipment System) has become mandatory from 21 May 2026. However, European authorities introduced a transition period, until 31 December 2026, while the digital obligation for notification procedures remains in force from 21 May 2026.
