A European investment fund announces the construction of a new state-of-the-art PET recycling plant in Poland, to meet the growing demand for high-quality rPET from packaging producers.

The new facility will use advanced sorting and processing technologies to produce food-grade rPET flakes and pellets from post-consumer waste. The plant will have an annual processing capacity of over 40,000 tonnes and is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2026. The project will create over 150 new jobs and will significantly contribute to meeting EU targets for the incorporation of recycled materials in packaging. This investment underscores strong confidence in the continued growth of the recycling market.
